I’m Ashlee, and my journey into crocheting began when a friend taught me some basic crochet stitches while we watched our kids do ballet in the park. Crocheting quickly became a creative outlet that helps calm my nervous system and provides a much-needed balance to my busy life as a homeschooling mom.

At SHEE Handmade, I prioritize using 100% cotton and 100% organic cotton yarns. I care deeply about what we put on our bodies and the positive impact that organic cotton has on not only us but on the environment as well. My goal is to transition fully to organic cotton, embracing its benefits for both our health and the planet.

With my degree in Interior Design and my years of working as a Color Material and Finishes Designer in the automotive industry, I found crocheting to be an opportunity to express myself creatively white maintaining my homeschooling mom lifestyle.

My designs are inspired by the people around me, the environments I explore with my children, and even everyday objects like bathroom tiles and pillow shams. Every bit of yarn is used purposefully, whether it's incorporated into scrap hats or given to my daughter for her own crochet projects.
